The following book was originally published in 1903 by Egerton R. Young. The book contains a collection of Algonquin Indian Tales as redistributed by Mr. Young.

The Algonquin people were one of the largest groups of Native Americans, spanning dozens of tribes. Their language was of Algonkian grouping. They resided in an area that consisted of most of the Canadian territory below the Hudson Bay down into the Rocky Mountain region then reaching across to the Atlantic Ocean and the eastern coast.
